Softpedia reports: "Designed and developed by Dan Greuel, SnowChecker is a desktop application based on the Wiki-based Snow Leopard Compatibility website. Thanks to the thousands of users adding compatibility data to snowleopard.wikidot.com, the program can effectively show which apps are fully or partially compatible with Snow Leopard, as well as provide direct links to the websites they’re hosted on."

The Snow Leopard wiki was infamous for bringing Wikidot.com to a grinding halt for two days in August as thousands of people tried to submit their test results, and consult the massive results page.

One problem with the Snow Leopard wiki was that it put everything on one page. The Wikidot Community developed a more efficient version. Maybe for the next release of Mac OS/X, Dan?
